Vision & Mission of the College

Buddha Bhanu Saraswati College: Established on 23rd August 1993, Buddha Bhanu Saraswati College is a self-financed co-educational institution managed by the Gorkha community of Shillong—a linguistic minority community of Meghalaya. The college is registered under the Society Registration Act 7 of 1993 (Reg. No. SR/BBSC-419/93) and affiliated with the Meghalaya Board of School Education for Higher Secondary (Arts and Commerce) and the North Eastern Hill University for Undergraduate Courses in Arts and Commerce.

Vision of the College:
To provide sound education that nurtures holistic development—intellectual, moral, and social—of students who are the future of our Society, State, and Nation.

Mission of the College:
To reach out to students, especially those from low-income groups across urban and rural Meghalaya, and to offer them guidance, support, and opportunities for personal and academic growth.

The College was founded to provide opportunities to students who were unable to secure admission elsewhere in 1993. Since then, it has been dedicated to empowering students to build successful careers and contribute meaningfully to the progress of Society, the State, and the Nation.
