Procedure for Admission

A. Criteria for Admission:

Students who have passed Plus-2 (10+2) or an equivalent examination in their respective stream from a recognized Board in India or abroad (considered equivalent by the University) are eligible for admission into the First Semester of Honours Degree Course.
Students from any stream in Plus-2 (10+2) may change to Arts Stream, and students from Science Stream may change to Commerce Stream only.
The last date for admission to Odd Semesters (I, III, V) will be notified.
Dates for commencement of Even Semesters (II, IV, VI) will be notified.

B. Documents to be Submitted for Admission:

Attested copy of Admit Card and Marksheet of the last examination passed.
Pass Certificate and Character Testimonial from the Head of the Institution last attended.
Three recent passport size photographs, duly attested.
Application Form must be submitted within the date fixed by the College.
No Application Form will be accepted after the last date.
The College reserves the right to refuse admission without assigning any reason.

Additional Information: A. Registration:

A student must be registered under the University within one Semester of enrolment.

B. Transfer:

No inter-college transfer shall be allowed beyond the First Semester Examinations. Transfers after that shall be allowed only on merit of each case.

C. Conduct of Examination:

At the end of each Semester, examination will be held as per the Semester Academic Calendar.
Evaluation shall be based on continuous assessment and end-semester examinations in the ratio of 1:3.
Continuous assessment patterns and schedules shall be as per University regulations.
Students may proceed to the next semester even with failed/arrears papers, subject to payment of fees and other prescribed University conditions.
